About Us

The story of The PlayBarn is one of a caring environment, which will provide a great choice of activities as well as comfortable and relaxed surroundings for parents. We carried out extensive research into the children’s indoor play and leisure sector to assist in developing The PlayBarn concept to meet the needs of the people of Moray.

At The PlayBarn, we recognise that keeping children active plays a key role in promoting physical and mental well being to growing children, and this coupled with parents becoming increasingly concerned about allowing children to play unsupervised for reasons such as ‘stranger danger' and the uncertainty of the activities being undertaken, has accumulated to the development of The PlayBarn.

MEET THE STAFF..

Chris Roberts (Director)
Director of the PlayBarn, he also built it!

Lesley Roberts (Director)
Director of The PlayBarn, she designed it! Lesley is a qualified First Aider. She has done alot of research into playframes for children, up and down the country.

Leah Armour (Manager)
She's been there from beginning to end! Leah has an NC in Early Education and Childcare. She is a qualified First Aider, has her Food and Hygiene Certificate and HACCP training.

Kirsty Porter (Assistant Manager)
Kirsty has a National Qualification in Intermediate 2 Childcare. She also has alot of experience in customer services and is very much a people person. Kirsty is a qualified First Aider and also has her Food and Hygiene Certificate.

Jan O'Shane (Team Supervisor)
Jan has a lot of expereince in customer services and working with people.  Jan has her First Aid Certificate and Food Hygiene Certificate.

Sarah Milne (Team Supervisor)
Sarah has a HNC in Childcare and has a natural passion with children.  She is a very bubbly, motivated person and will do anything to help anyone.  Sarah has her First Aid Certificate.

Kirstie Chisholm (Team Player)
Kirstie did childcare at college and brings alot of fun and laughs to the team.  Kirstie has a natural flare with children and you will usually find her in our Creche facility playing with the kids

John Morrison (Head Chef)
John leads the kitchen here and injects alot of new and exciting dishes to tantalise your tastebuds!  John is a fantastic team player and doesn't mind getting his hands dirty!

Graeme Christie (Chef)
Graeme is learning every day at The PlayBarn and has brilliant teachers to learn from.  Graeme is shining more and more each day and his kitchen skills are improving all the time.

Alan Clark (Chef)
Alan brings fun, laughs and excitement to the kitchen.
